Introduced in France by Globe Planter as 'Chaperon Rouge'.
Introduced in Germany by W. Kordes' Söhne (Retail) in 2007 as 'Rotkäppchen'.
Introduced in Canada by Palatine Roses in circa 2010 as 'Red Riding Hood - Fairy Tale'.
Floribunda.
Dark red. Mild fragrance. 70 to 80 petals. Average diameter 2.75". Medium to large, very full (41+ petals), borne mostly solitary, cluster-flowered, in small clusters, quartered, rosette bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Short, bushy, well-branched. Medium, glossy, medium green, leathery foliage.
Height of up to 28" (up to 70 cm). Width of up to 20" (up to 50 cm).
USDA zone 5a through 9b. Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower or garden. Vigorous. Disease susceptibility: disease resistant.
